On-Site Stormwater Retention Method:
The proposed onsite stormwater retention is designed to the 50-yr, 24-hours storm event per City of Boise Retention Standards. Proposed Stormwater treatment is collecting the water in multiple catch basins located at low spots in the parking lot and directing stormwater into a seepage bed to be located under the parking lot for storage and treatment. The seepage bed will be 16 ft wide, 125 ft long and 4.75 ft deep. The seepage bed will be backfilled with an AASHTO No. 3 coarse aggregate, assuming a void ratio of 0.4, the seepage bed will provide a 2,975 CF of effective storage and an additional 825 CF of emergency storage.
